Don't eat by yourself. Join us for lunch or dinner! We do the
cooking and washing up while you enjoy your meal. Our Congregate
Dining program gives seniors and adults with disabilities the
opportunity to enjoy a hot meal and socialize with others.
Congregate dining is more than just a meal. It's also a place
where you can take part in fun activities. After your meal you can join in one of our discussion groups or
play a game of euchre, bridge, dominos or bingo. You can also sign up for any of the bus trips that take place
throughout the year.
The program takes place at various locations including community
centres, schools and seniors buildings in Scarborough. We'll let
you know ahead of time when and where the programs are available.
If you like, we can arrange for transportation to get you there
and back home afterwards.
There is a small fee for the Congregate Dining program.
Subsidies can be arranged in certain situations.
Congregate dining takes place between 11:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday
to Friday.
Evening programs are between
5:00 pm and 7:00 pm in selected locations.
